Troubleshooting ClassADrivers Performance
Hi folks
We're painfully aware of the performance issues you've been having for the past couple weeks. We've implemented many improvements, but we're still having trouble figuring out where to look since everything is saying it is working all right. We've made some changes, but at this point, we're looking to get as much information as we can on things. If you have a problem related to the system timing out/performance, please let us know here. Include your Operating System, Your browser and version number, the time it happened (and timezone), your IP address, your connection type. Take a screen shot if you can or if there is any information. If you know how to do things like tracert, do that too. The more information you can give about your connection to the site, the better. If we can figure out where it is hanging up, we can zero on it. Thanks for your help. |
Um... you know you are asking Truckers for help here right? (Road Scholars) :D
Annahoo, I've had occasional image flucuations. I think there is a bug putting pressure on the cascading resizerator. http://www.guitarworkstation.com/for...n_confused.gif Also, since your tinkering with the innards, maybe increase the grayscale sensitivity compensator, to reduce vertical pixel resolution matrix to human eye inversionary pulse sringlyexity nerve quadrant indexation. That may better approximate a more dynamic saturation, and still reference histiogramic contrast level to incorporate a AS3 vector blending glyphs. Other image colorimetric attributes such as brightness processing can be sampled through the buttocksomifier with less subpixel scaling calculation. ...just sayin'. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...nd10/shrug.gif |
I know you guys are truckers. :D
But I also know that you guys were some of the first people using "social networking" on CBs and you had laptops in your cabs before most police departments. You might not be techies, but you're not dumb, either. |
Just logged in, crafted a Reply to Thread post, and hit preview post. Total time a few minutes. The post was lost. I got a website expired page. Tried both the back page/forward page and no difference. I was totally dropped off the CAD site. This has happened several times over the last couple days. :block:
Oh yeah... XP Pro Version 2002 Service Pack 3. Internet Explorer 8 @ 7:15ish EST using Charter Cable. IP 97.85.85.26 I'll pay more attention to the exact time, from now on, and I'm just now learning about tracert. http://www.svcheats.com/strace.htm |
The system is configured on two servers that are supposed to share the load. (Called CAD1 and CAD2)
We shut down CAD2 yesterday (it's good for redundancy, but not needed for load on this site) because it was showing slow times and we were hoping it might be the cause. Let me know how it goes this morning. If it fixes things, we know to re-clone and set up a new CAD2. If it doesn't, we know it's not CAD2 or its configuration. |
I've encountered no problemo's today, and I haven't heard any.... http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...0/banghead.gif ... http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...zx11pissed.gif ... http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...0/censored.gif ...from anyone else.
Thanks Mike! |
Fingers crossed. We'll keep the experiment going another day or through the weekend.
