Brats......... boil with beer water mix, brown on grill or in pan, with gr. and red bell peppers [jalepeno if you like it spicy]. Steak or Brats should never be "POKED" thats for something entirely different  The two reasons behind tough steak is either bad cut or sometimes if you go straight from refrigerator [35 degrees] onto the grill [400 +] it will constrict the meat. I always leave mine out in room temp. for at least one hour. Don't let the "food-police" try and convince you that bacteria will harbour and cause illness, it wont, as long as you cook the steak the same day as you set it out. DO NOT let it get room temp. and then put it back into refrigerator to cook another day, that when it is BAD. VERY BAD. At true steak houses they have "curing" rooms with the exact amount of heat and moisture to get the meat to optimum level; taste. They actually cut off the dis-colored outside of the meat and then proceed with cooking/serving. This seems extreme but the end results are extremely tender and tasty.

Midnight Flyer..... Panthers are 4-5, got BEAT by Atlanta? , 44 year old Q.B. [Vinny T.], ...........c'mon.....can you say 9 and 1....... I can. Although my team, Bucs, need them to lose, and with our luck  .... I will stop at that.

Yeah, I couldnt imagine Carolina beating the Pack. That should be an easy one for Brett.

:D Isn't Vinny T. the oldest QB or active player in the NFL? 8)

Carolina is better than their record and this has trap game written all over it. They are missing a QB but if Carr or Vinnie has a good game, they'll give the Packers problems. Their defense is solid.

The Packers 2 games AFTER are their biggest of the season. The Lions for Thanksgiving and then the Cowboys...both are away games for the Packers. If they look past Carolina, they're in for a 3-game losing streak, minimum. They need the Carolina win for the momentum, at least as far as the Lions go. They're done when they get to Dallas.

Don't know much about Brett-McCarthy, and the Packers do you? Packers don't think or believe in "Trap Games" because every single game is important and not overlooked like some teams like Patriots-Cowgirls-and was going to say Colts but I think they're pretty much done now with the Injuries.
They don't , and Haven't,overlooked anybody all year long.
Cowgirls were supposed to be good this year and make a run at the Super Bowl-we weren't

Win against the Panthers-Split with Detroit-maybe a loss at Dallas.
Not bad for the youngest team in the NFL and no running game(Got Grant now) and when everybody in the World knows all we do is Pass and teams have all week to prepare for it and it still works.

Morten Anderson is still alive and kicking :P for Atlanta. I remember him when I was a kid.

He's bound to be in his late 40s.

If Brett and Vinny start Sunday I think it will be a combined age of around 82 years and a new NFL record

:D Yoop, those old farts in the NFL do something that is getting more and more extinct: they play for the love of the game and try to set an example for the rookies and younger players and not to see how much money, cars, or how many police records they can get! Not to mention they don't organize dog fighting rings! 8)
