Eli will win more rings before Payton gets anymore of if he can survive the Season. He is a Marked man known for having an Injuried area any and ALL Defensive Players are going to go for that area sorry that is like putting a Ham in front of a Starving dog. He has one (ring.) Eli has two. Payton now gets to work with Elway who has two (or is it three?) The Broncos have FOUR so far I think. Not sure how that compares to how many the Black'n'mild has. But, I DO like the Breeze!

Payton is still young. Many oldtimers play with injuries that... yes... are targeted by unscrupulous "head hunter" teams like yours! LOL!

The Broncos ALWAYS have good receivers. Recently, they just couldn't draft, trade, or buy a decent Q/B!

I don't see Payton like some young and rising star. I see him as a veteran with so many skills he can teach or adapt to a younger receiver corps. He can bring discipline to a team that has gone thru too many changes in recent years. [Dare I compare him to a Brett Favre?]

I could see a Payton Manning... Cam Newton S/B duel in the near future! No way I could LOSE! [but, I'll have to pull for Carolina!]

I'd love to see my UNC and Carolina Panthers win the titles this year but I'm a realist. UNC is still a basketball school and Carolina needs some help for Cam. He can't go out there scoring 50 points himself and hoping he outscores the other team.
