So if he can survive the Hits coming his way MAYBE but he is still not going to win with the Offense and Defense around him in Denver.
Update: 8 straight wins! (or is it 9 now?)

Peyton has been lucky, the line has done a yeoman's job to protect him as best they can. He's taken what, 2 good shots thus far? That's about how many he would take per season in Indy.

So... what's your point? The season is almost over so, 2 here... 2 there... what? The line in Indy had many years to figure out his "moves" and that makes it easier to protect him. Denver will get used to him as well.

I guess by "lucky" you mean as far as not getting hurt. No one who knows football and Peyton thinks he's "lucky" for winning games. Also... I think one reason he hasn't taken more "shots" is how quickly he reads defenses and gets rid of the ball.

Anyway... I was just bored and remembered my prediction here on CAD when I heard the other day that he had won 8 straight games there at Denver. I had no doubt he would be extremely successful there... but, even I didn't expect that. Of course... Tebow won 5 straight (was it?) Shows that Denver team isn't lacking any talent. They just need a good QB.

Sure wouldn't mind seeing a Denver/D.C. superbowl this year! Manning vs. RG3.

My point is, Peyton has been lucky to have a line that has managed to protect him a lot better than most of the experts were predicting. With the way Peyton works, the guys in Indy understood the calls he was making pre-snap without having to think, is it a block scheme change, a play change, a bluff or all of the above? The first few years were a rough go for him in Indy as they learned his craft. The guys in Denver haven't had a QB like Peyton so for them to pick up the way he works so quickly and pretty seamless, that's pure luck IMO.

Yeah a friend of mine put those up on Facebook, I could not stop laughing at just how realistic some of them seem to be! I love the one's where they used the players introducing themselves at the start of the games. AP's was pretty good.

Ouchie...............that was ugly. I'm talking about MetLife Stadium that is! As to the game.....................no words can describe that dismantling. I'm unclear as to why Denver didn't go ahead for an onside kick after their lone score. They needed everything they could muster at that point down 36-8. Guess they had already tossed in the towel and were simply playing for pride?
