Well... I'm sorry I missed it. I was on the road. I haven't read your blog on it yet, but... I bet I know how you're feeling. It's not right to leave Dad's out of this misery... or honor. Yeah, mothers are mothers, but.... Dad's suffer, too!
Fuggitaboutit, Fozzy! Some people will never "get it." But, Pokey knows how you feel. And that's all that really matters.
Isn't it "interesting" how they always talk about how a mother lost a son (whether in war or not,) and rarely mention how a father lost a son? But.... what does that say about daughters? Even with women serving (and dying) in combat.... you rarely hear about a mother losing a daughter.
Are daughters worth less in our society than Fathers? Are mothers worth MORE?
