Almost four years ago my husband decided to design a toolbox for his truck. He made it, but had problems with the cost of materials. He decided to find an American company to design one for him and see if it was marketable. Well, many companies were consulted but most were so expensive that it was not feasible to go forward. So we decided to find the individual components to make the boxes ourselves. Most times we were directed to China or Mexico, but we rejected the thought. Finally after much research over the last four years we found several small companies around the country who were anxious to provide American products to manufacture toolboxes using American labor at an affordable price. Cubby Buddy toolboxes went on sale Thanksgiving week 2010. It can be done!
How about a link to a website? I'm in the market for a box very very soon
Hey post some links to sketches or designs and can maybe help you out with a better idea.
Not quite what I'm looking for, but a nice product it looks like.
And thanks Mackman, its hard to search stuff on this smartphone sometimes, easier with a link.
o.k I was thinking tool box for chains, coil racks, timbers. e.t.c.
If Santa brings $ for Christmas I would love to have one of those so all my cans and wrenches quit getting in the middle all the time.
