In light of all the other typical drama that has occurred with my family this year, I'm thankful that I've found classes that I'm actually interested in when it comes to college and also that I'm still working to some extent.
I am thankful that the CAT place has my truck running right now as I type this, just a few things to left to do and I'm out of here and will be home late this afternoon, and be home tomorrow for Thanksgiving. We hope to find a thawed turkey when we get home so we can still have family over, if not we'll just have to improvise.
While every year I have had much to be thankful for ( most of the reasons stated above ), this year is special for me ( and my family ). This year my 13 year old daughter got a second chance at life. On June 19th 2010, she received a new liver and a new life.
All I know is that; this year if they ask ME to ask the blessing, there are going to be some VERY hungry people before I'm done.
