Here in OH P&D starts around 17.50? Tops out around 20.50 maybe 21? I know overtime doesnt start until after 50 and not very many people get more than 50. Equipment is marginal at best. Their shops are on very strict budgets and dont like to fix much. At alot of their terminals they start you as a dock w/cdl combo with a late start time. But seniority doesnt mean alot there so if you're good at P&D you could probably get a route pretty quickly. As LTL cos go they are a bottom feeder and their turnover is high. But, that also means there is usually plenty of work for the new guy and you move up fast. Road drivers start around .38/mile and most all of them work the dock at the hub. If you are unfortunate enough to be close to a hub you'll end up with a short run and a long nite on the dock. I have a cousin who started in P&D and got a route immediately but he had 25 yrs experience and knows every street in town. He got our other cousin in as a road driver and has a sweet run to Lansing every nite at around 520 round trip. Like I said it a chit company but there is some good work if your in the right place at the right time and they like you.
