im contemplating buying a trailer, not sure if dry van or reefer, but what i wanted to ask is what insurances are REQUIRED on the trl?? i would imagine physical would be if there was a leinholder on the trl? i know the insurances as far as for the cargo but im talking about just the trl itself..... thanks
Since you're leased, the only insurance you would be liable for is Physical Damage. There's no liability attached exclusively to the trailer and the and the cargo is covered by your company.
i was 2 seconds away from taking some $ out of the bank and putting a down payment on one, but i just went to Xtra Lease and leased one for 432 per month, that way if when i made the change from Schneider to Roadrunner Dawes things werent working out i wouldnt be stuck with a trl, but ive been approved for a trailer and wondering to go reefer or dry van(vented). I have a few months experience with reefer but not enough to say i know exactly how to run a reefer.
well produce is where the high paying freight is right! what else could i pull that pays that much that requires running a reefer? i need a 2000 year trailer or above
