Anyone know of any good companys for local or LHL in or around Tulsa, Oklahoma? Just going to school at the end of this month and was starting to look for what I am going to be doing after I get out.
There are some of the LTL freight companies that have terminals around Tulsa. Arrow(flatbed company) is in Tulsa. They might have local work, not exactly sure. You also might want to check into the local paper for ads. When you get into school, they might also be able to help you find local work.
Melton also has a terminal there. Not sure what you mean by good company . I think there are good and bad with most companies out there. You want flatbed or van , bulk or reefer. Bama Pies is also out of T-Town.Good luck.
Don Williams also sang a song about Tulsa. :P
I believe you are correct Jack, seems like there was one about Tulsa Time(I liked Eric Claptons version) and Bob Wills had Take Me back To Tulsa, (I liked George Straits version) and George Strait had one "Tell Me Something Bad About Tulsa" I know I missed some more but these come to mind lol

Yeap, George Strait's song "Tell me Something back about Tulsa" is one of my favorite. Coarse I think that Strait is just a damn good performer and pretty much lives what he sings about.
I see these yellowish and green trucks with a big "E" on them and I have seen they are based out of Tulsa or a hub or something. I need to pay closer attention I guess. I am thinking of doing Flatbed cause I want to stay in some symbolance of shape. Who knows though, thanks for the replies thus far.
There is a tanker outfit there in Tulsa called Oklahoma Tank Lines. They haul gas and fuel to all the truck stops and gas stations around there. Might want to give them a call.
