As a biker and a trucker I think all of you who say "good for him" are on the right track. I've been a biker for more years than I can count. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason for those speeds on public roadways!! There are plenty of places that individual could "Feed his need for speed" and still not place anyone else' life in danger. This same type of individual is an example of the ones that will fly through rush hour traffic, weaving in and out, create their own lane between vehicles, using the shoulder for driving, etc. I stand behind what I said am am glad the gene pool is being reduced without physically harming other innocent people.
And by the way, the idiot is not a biker! He was someone who could afford a fast bike and decided he had a new toy. A "Biker" understands the road, his machine and the general public around him. A "Biker", just like a "Trucker" is a professional with his machine! That idiot was neither a professional nor a biker!
Who I certainly feel for in this incident is the trucker himself. Although he may not have been physically harmed, there is no doubt that incident will forever be etched in his mind! Even though he was not the cause he will most likely always wonder if he did something to cause it or could have done something to prevent it. That is only normal for a decent human being. Unfortunately it has its toll mentally on decent human beings.
