I've got Bostrom WideRides in my w900...I like 'em other than the fact they leave a bit to be desired in the bolstering on the legs. I have the gray leather, and they have stood up to my 6'2'' 245lb. self for the past 2 years and still look like new...overall a decent way to spend $1,400.00
Check out www.comfortride.com I was checking out there site but have not bought anything from them. Maybe someone on this site has purchased these seats and can charm in..
National makes a good seat. The pivot points have grease fittings and overall a well made seat.
My truck was ordered with twin low back Nationals with just a lumbar support, which give you a bit more room in the cab as their not as wide, I'm 190lbs and their fine for me. The truck cab is on air plus the rear axels...so it rides better than alot of pick up trucks.
I've had their best seat also ( highback) in another truck. The one that has all the ajustments like a keyboard on the side.
It was a good seat too with more support...but a little harder to get in and out of because of the high bolsters.
I just replaced my seat with a Sears Elite leather. I was going to go with one of the plush pillow seats and remembered my BMW. The seats in there are hard as rock leather but you can ride all day. I'm happy with my new seat and drove almost 15 hours in it and wasn't squirming around like my old one.
I paid I think $799 for it. I bought it in a shop when my old seat broke so you could probably order it for less. Real easy to install too.
Thanks for all the choices.
I ended up going with a seat from industrialseats.com.
2 tone black fabric with a pulsing back thingy in it for improved blood flow.
I don't know how it will work, but I will let you know.
