I was thinking about applying there. Anyone have any input about them? sounds like most of what they do is unloading with a two wheeler (hard work) but i live about a 1/4 mile from there terminal so that is a big advantage. Also I am only 19 with one year experience, do you think they would consider me? thanks in advance.
I don't know if they would only being 19. But I did a google and their driver ads only say you need a cdl, no age requirement. You can fill out an app at www.syscoef.com.
All SYSCO houses are different, but I would imagine that all of them would be that you are atleast 21, a clean record, and you hold a Class A license. You might want to call them, and see what they require.
You get cranked up early in the mornings. It is hard work, but once you get the hang of it, nothing to it. You do unload everything on a 2 wheel dolly. All though, some stops have docks, and you can unload with a pallet jack.(hospitals, etc)
