I've been using Direct Freight for a while and I like the way I get load notifications sent via e-mail. But they're aren't as many loads posted at Direct Frieght as there is on some other boards so I signed up with ITS. Now I find that ITS doesn't offer e-mail notification and I can't leave a web browser open all day so it's time to look elsewhere.
Can Getloaded sent e-mails?
We use getloaded, truckersedge and chrobinson to dispatch 8 trucks.
But we have a girl that does the dispatching that watches for loads. We also have a growing number of regular shippers that we deal directly around the country.
But right now, things are very very slow. I am just hoping to get out of here today. Problem with us, which is a good problem, is that we do not go near the cheap stuff, which there seems to be allot of right now.
On edit: I believe that getloaded and truckersedge will notify you with an alert or email. Just check the sites or give them a call. Personally, I find that truckeredge has the most loads listed at any given time.

I subscribe to getloaded and I don't recall ever having been notified of any loads by email. :?
email notification is GREAT!!! I think freightfinder.com offers email notification. ITS offers an option that blasts your computer speaker system when a load matches but it does require leaving the browser open.
Isn't FreightFinder just a portal to GetLoaded?

I don't know why they all don't send e-mails. Leaving the browser open doesn't do it for me. Since I posted this question originally, I've tried Loadlink/Transcore or whatever you want to call it. Pricey....lots of loads though....but still no e-mails.
I'll try Freightfinder Load-it...thanks for the tip. Think I'll try TruckersEdge too.
