I was curious; If anyone had experience doing this with pantherii.
I sat down and ran the cost and it seems I dont think I could pull it off unless i made at least 2500 miles a week or more.
I think the going rate was .77/mile, but I had to figure my cost of living atm, plus payments and future payments so at end of the vans life, buy another one.
Any suggestions?

Panther2 is the SWIFT of expediting - I'm talking about it's size because since buying Conway's expedite division, P2 is currently the biggest expedite carrier.
Generally speaking, many cargo van drivers are either semi-retired or trying to make money driving without the hassles associated with driving a truck that requires a CDL.
That being said, as far as I know, P2 has a safety department that limits the miles per day that even cargo vans can run, similar to the HOS regs.
While it may happen on rare occasion, I wouldn't plan on 2500 miles per week, I'd say that 1000 - 1200 loaded miles per week with 50% dead head is closer to reality.
Don't forget that, compared to a T/T, driving a cargo van may have some advantages, but when it comes to layovers, they are a whole helluva lot less comfortable.
