You don't need to pay $2,000! Get a 'whale tail' or - legalese - 'wind deflector' that's made by an outfit in Ontario, Canada. These are available from most ... Peterbilt dealers. I went to an International dealer (I have a 2004 International 9400) and the Parts guy didn't know if he can order it. So I checked a Peterbilt dealer and this store in Calgary, AB had it. Paid just over $200 Cnd for it. They didn't have a chance to install it, and I was running south, so I tried my luck in ... Texas. A bodyshop with all Mexican workers charged me 200 bucks and now my fuel mileage is much better than what it was without the whale tail. A tip: don't use cheap workers like I did because they will probably screw up and make your roof leak. I had a constant leak in heavy rain after the "expert" installation but finally I took care of it. I'd rather pay $400 to someone who knows what he/she is doing.
