Just for the heck of it, whether you believe in "worst case scenarios" or not, please humor me by offering your well thought-out predictions if the following occurs:
The U.S. economy basically crashes. Millions out of work and homeless. In many places it's difficult to keep electicity going 24/7. Gas and diesel are hard to come by at ANY price. Violent mobs of White blue-eyed devils have turned small town America into no-go zones sort of like they do today, but on a much larger scale.
My question is, what will the future of trucking be in such a situation. After all STUFF has got to move, right? That "stuff" might not be high-end consumer electronics and frivolous toys, but food, medicine, and basic necessities, right?
Would the government take over the trucking industry? Would there be as many trucks on the road as there are now? Who would be driving them? Soldiers? Foreigners? So many questions!
