You will have to bend over to look at the inside tandem reading. That gauge will still be stuck inside and unless you buy the optional T to fill it up you will have to remove the gauge each time you want to add air.
I have a feeling after removing them a few times to add air you won't put them back on.
I have Crossfires on all my wheels and they are truly a walk by and look gauge. You add air to both tires at once with the valve sticking right out for very easy access. They cost around $65 per tandem but sometimes you can get them on Ebay cheaper. I would buy 1 every so often when you have the money instead of buying those other things.
