Just throwing this out there, but I thought of this thread today, when a tanker truck hauling water that fills swiming pools went by the house. That might be a possiblity.
You could try hitting up some of the smaller asphalt paving companies. Like the ones who do nothing but driveways. They seem to be always looking for a seasonal driver.
where i live, there are agricultural companies that hual tomatoes, almonds, etc for the season.
im not sure what you have in your area, but here in sacramento, you'd have a summer job
When I first started out I was living way up north in MI and could only find 2 companies that would even consider me, one hauled recycled stuff only in the summer months, the other was a carnival, I went with the carnival, it was an interesting 2 months, I got a little experience I could list on my resume and I had fun. also those trucks are some of the most challenging to drive, a good experience over all.
Summer Work
You could also try the temp. agencies in your area..... might be a perfect fit........
