Hino trucks and EOBRs

Hello ladies and gents, I've got an unusual question. Do any of y'all use an EOBR with a Hino truck built before 2008? I have seven of these in my fleet, and I'm in the process of researching EOBRs. I had a vendor tell me that older Hinos do not transmit odometer information through the ECM, which would require some manual calibration with the GPS to track mileage. All of the other vendors are unaware of this supposed issue. I don't want to enter in contract with a company only to find out the equipment is incompatable.

The EOBRS may or may not use the odometer information and may just use the GPS for the miles driven. Unless the truck is fully mechanical (highly doubtful) then there has got to be an ECM on the engine that the system can get information from.
