Back to work!!

Following a minor injury that's not work or vehicle related I'm now going back to work YEA!! My question is since I was put OOS by my company will this show on any record somewhere? Do I have to list it in any future job apps?

If it was not directly caused by your work and you did not file workman's comp through your company, it should not show up anywhere. It is a private medical situation. The only thing I do not understand is why your employer placed you "OOS".

I've never heard of such a thing...being placed OOS by an employer.

Thanks for the replies, I have no idea why they do that other than if I did move the truck it's on MY HEAD not the company's. That's the best i can come up with.
As a side note, after missing almost 2 wks I finally get back to work and promptly breakdown 10hrs later the wrecker shows up and a tractor for my trl. The driver that was supossed to pick up my loaded trl went someplace, don't know where but he showed up 7 hours late! And then tells me he only has 1.5 hrs left! I could've killed him, I have a dedicated run that I'm very protective of and the customer was not happy. It's good to be back to work.

Look! I leave you alone for a minute, and you go get yourself all bangled up! lol
Glad to hear you're up and kickin', again, though. Hopefully, like Big Orange said, since it's an issue between you and the company, it shouldn't even be mentioned...and it DOES sound like a CYOA move on the company's part.
Don't kill the driver who made you look SOOOOO very good!! I'll bet your customer's really happy to have YOU back, now! :)

P.S., Hi, OrangeTxGuy!!

Your employer disqualified u from driving pending being cleared by your doc to drive, do i get this right? If so, i have never had a prospective employer ask about something like this, nor is that something that would be disclosed in a dac report. The closest disqualifier to that i know of is 'has your license ever been suspended/revoked' wich it hasnt. If u break an arm, it may disqualify u from driving but wouldnt hinder you from getting a job once you have healed.
