Fredog, I didn't get p!ssed off till after the jerk handed me a "TRAFFIC" ticket written against me for a "MINOR" equipment violation.
Since the ticket was dismissed, this is probably a moot point. But an equipment violation is not a moving violation and therefore is a zero point violation on your MVR, so will not effect insurance or anything.
HOWEVER, it is a violation with the new CSA 2010 regs coming out. That CSA 2010 points database and your MVR are seperate entities.
