Now that this came up, who runs 60 hr/7 day logs? (Well, what companies, that is)

Rev.Vassago 07-29-2009 02:00 AM

Companies that are only open 5 days per week have the option of running 60/7 logs or 70/8 logs.

Right. The company I work for is not an actual trucking company. Our drivers perform a service at a client site --the equipment they use is hauled in a large trailer. The load & trailer weigh enough to require a Class A -CDL, but we do not drive every day or all day. Thus we use the 60/7 logging method.
