help on changing dac

does anyone have any idea on weather or not a company can put an accident on your record as preventable if no damage occured and no money was paid out?

I was backing out of one those idle air spots had another truck try to pass me (instead of waiting for me) luckily only the rubber on the fairing was hit, she being a new driver panicked and call the incident in to her dispatcher and safety even after the pictures showed no damaged occured to either vechile and no money was paid out the company still list it as preventable.

what can i do to get this changed?

Sounds like the other truck had the right of way. Doesn't have to be damage to have a preventable accident/incident. Should not be listed as a DOT reportable.

DOT Reportable - No
Preventable - Yes

Talk with your company about getting it changed.
