Had an accident within first 90 days will anyone hire him?

Okay, I am posting this for a family member. It looks like you folks know a lot on this board so maybe you can help him out. My step dad was a truck driver for 10 years and then stopped driving for about 11 years. Okay, he went back to driving about a month or two ago and was terminated from his job yesterday because he had not been with the company for a full 90 days and had a preventable wreck. So, my question is this... Will any company hire him now that this will be on his DAC report. Most of the job adds he has looked at all want clean driving record and 3-6 months recent experience.

Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A lot will depend on what the preventable accident is.

A rollover is a lot worse than curbing a tire and bending a rim.

He was trying to turn off the dome light and over corrected. Laid it on its side. I don't know if all the merchandise he was hauling was destroyed or not.

Ouch, it would be very hard to find anyone that would hire him after that.

i doubt very seriously that any one would hire him this soon after laying one over on it's side,he may have to wait awhile

I am afraid he is pretty much done. In this day and age of insurance companies and lawyers running companies, this will be hard to overcome.
