Fozzy 12-15-2006 11:19 AM

Why would you need to know?

classicxl 12-15-2006 12:06 PM

if they catch you in wont be pretty

tozz22 12-15-2006 12:11 PM

because i run it sometimes when its full and backed out onto the freeway

classicxl 12-15-2006 12:19 PM

when i use to run cali heavy if the scale house was backed up they would turn on the sign scale closed or we just kept going anyway because it was a safety hazard never had a problem. Now if there was room on the ramp and you went by that would be a problem

tozz22 12-15-2006 10:00 PM

i was looking for a dollar amount

Mackman 12-15-2006 10:21 PM

My oldman run a scale like 8 years ago and it was like 185. in PA give or take.

GMAN 12-16-2006 04:57 PM

I will bypass their scale if it is full, but don't even consider it if there is still room on the ramp.

Kintama 12-17-2006 09:13 AM

They will get you, and they will find lots of things wrong.

yoopr 12-17-2006 07:46 PM

I'll just say that if you're caught bypassing a scale in CA. it will turn into one of the biggest trucking mistakes you'll ever make and everything you think you might gain by bypassing it you'll lose 10 fold.
