Want to lease my truck

Does anyone knows about any companies where i can lease my truck but I don't have to drive it.

Most carriers who lease on owner operators will allow you to lease on your truck and put a driver in the seat. Landstar, CRST Malone, Universal Truckload, Crete, etc., are a few. If there is a company that you are interested in leasing to, give them a call and ask. I have known fleet owners who have leased to all of those that I listed. I know of one woman who owned over 100 trucks that she had leased to Crete, at one time. She was a doctor.

I have talked to a few drivers that are leased on with Landstar, and they seemed to like it.

Many do make money leasing their trucks to carriers and putting drivers in them. Some lose their shirts. Whether you run your own authority or lease to another carrier, you are in business for yourself. Leasing to a carrier, you will give up some of your profit, but don't have to pay for some of the costs of running your own authority.

Ummm. let me correct for GMAN as he must not have been on his "A" game when posting. MOST LOSE THEIR SHIRTS! Not "some."

What kind of driver is willing to be paid on an IRS 1099 with minimal or (most likely) no benefits? You got it! Non-hires!

GMAN is a lifestyle trucker. Keep your money in your pocket. Have some respect for the drivers that you are going to hire with minimal to no benefits and place yourself in their shoes.

Time for a self inventory. Real people with families, hopes and dreams out here.

It's not a game. This is our lives. Although the other 99 percent want to treat you that way.

GMAN............... Are you still paying on IRS 1099? What benefits do you offer?

Any trouble sleeping at night........................
