Trucking stories
 

Hi -- I'm not a trucker. I'm a guy who writes about truckers and trucking for various companies: Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit, RoadPro, Wilson, DAS, RoadKing etc. I concentrate on stories about truckers' lives and work, home-life balance, families etc. rather than gear. For example, right now, I'm working on an article about how truckers use technology when on the road to participate in family events (kid's birthday, recitals, games). Does the stay-at-home spouse post pics on Facebook, Tweet the game, Skype the driver in at the party -- or is it just a phone call from the road?

If you've got any experience with this, I'd like to talk to you by phone or through email. Even if this story isn't relevant to you, I'd like to hear from any drivers about the kind of stories you'd like to read or issues on your mind.
