Attention - Independent Owner Operators

Hello Everyone!

Our company is currently looking for independent owner operators or drivers that are willing to become Independent owner operator (we have people in place to help get you set up). We currently have a ton of Flat bed / open trailer work and some occasional Van work. Majority of our work comes from the Construction and Agricultural industries but we do handle shipments from all industries from a single skid to some very large oversized loads. We are are small family owned company that currently operates out of Canada (have loads across North America). You can check us out at Best Rate Transportation - Home for more company details as well as our contact info. We have over 20 years experience in the industry and are looking for O/O to help add more reliable customer service.

So what we have to offer

1. A high rate per mile average around 2.50 per mile (loaded/ empty combination) for flat bed/ step deck work
2. We take a low percentage of 7-10% in commission for our services (compared to 15-20% for the big companies)
3. You are free to take any other loads
4. We can take care of customer invoicing and offer quick pay (1-2.5% depending on customer)
5. We can handle ordering your permits/ border paper work
6. Can usually be reached 24/7

What we need from you

1. Your own Operating authority
2. Valid Insurance (usually 2 mill liability and 1/2 mill cargo)
3. Reliable Equipment
4. Excellent customer Service

If your interested in handling some of our shipments give us a call or send an email!

Thank you

Best Rate Transportation

Are you a dispatch service or brokerage company? Most brokers and shippers require $1 million liability and $100,000 cargo.

We started 20 years ago as just a trucking company (3rd generation in it now) but ended up selling all of our trucks (25 units at peak) after the 2008 financial deal. We moved to full brokering as we had a lot of customers still calling but now we are working at building back up with Owner Operators to add more reliability to our services. We also have contracts with 3 other small companies (75 units) and do provide a dispatch service for some of their trucks. Basically the idea that we are going for is to consolidation the little companies /owner operators to put us on the same service level as the larger companies. The insurance I had stated was what the 3 companies we are contracted with are carrying but yes it is not required. We do some business with GE for their locomotive engines and they do require more insurance but many others do not.

If you would like to talk in person you can call the Ontario office 519-800-4466 and Bill is the person that will answer (his direct line)
