I would say that one of the hardest things for guys wanting to get into being an owner operator out there right now is that everyone is having a really hard time getting financing. All the jerk off banks have tightened up. I'd tell you to take a look at some of the lease companies out there. They are somtimes better to go through because they purchase their trucks wholesale and lease them directly to you. This cuts out the truck dealer middle man so they can usually get you into a better deal even if you have crappy credit and can't get anything from the bank.
