owner/op stepdeck company for truck with condo sleeper

Is anyone aware of a good company to lease to that has freight for my stepdeck trailer, pulled by my big truck with a 120" sleeper. Both truck and trailer together are about 40,000# so I'm slightly limited to somewhat light loads. Thanks for you comments in advance!

There's a company out of S. Ca. that hauls jet engines, forget there name. Mainly see them on 10, 20 or 40. Also Landstar has some big sleeper trucks.

CRST Malone has an a couple of agents who work together hauling jet engines. There are also a couple of other carriers who haul them. I don't recall the names. Another thing you can do is concentrate on over sized and heavy haul. You can permit up to 92,000 in most states with 5 axles. If you are at 40,000 empty, you could still haul 50,000 or so and be legal. I haul excavators and other equipment which requires permits. Some of the excavators weigh about 51,000. At one time Mercer had a lot of owner operators who drive big houses. They do a lot of military freight.

I'm leased to Admiral Merchants with a flatbed and my average payload is only 20,000 lbs.
I mostly run between the Carolinas and California.
We have trucks like yours leased on here.

Admiral and Mercer are good ones...Landstar is getting tougher,so i would not suggest them. Most of Landstar loads are CH Loads...sad but true.

Mercer has a lot of cheap freight. They also double broker a lot of freight. They eventually stopped calling me offering me cheap stuff. I did some good paying loads for them but they offer a lot of cheap stuff in between.
