09 Peterbilt 387 Cab AC not working, need blower location
2009 Pete 387 AC not blowing in cab. Was blowing warm air, had it charged and then blew cold for about a week. Then blower just stopped working after briefly blowing hot air and while truck is in motion vent air will come through vents with fan off. Bunk AC is still working, but has occasionally blown less than cold until shut off for awhile and then will blow cool again.
AC/Blower fuses have been replaced and now am looking at testing the blower motor and need to know where it is located. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be and how to fix it would be appreciated. It is slightly uncomfortable in 100 plus temps :( |

You think it is hot with your situation.....try being without AC at all!!! All these danged "environmental controls" on this fricking truck make it just that much hotter! I think...not sure tho.....the blower motor is behind the glove compartment. |
I would check under the hood on the firewall on the passenger side. I have one truck that has the blower motor under the passenger seat. Did you check to see if the a/c compressor is working? If so, then it could be a different problem.
