Help!! Trailer stolen in NJ area!!

If any of you guys drive in NJ or surrounding areas can you please look for my trl, no any markings on it just unit nuber on front corners 90701, stainles steel rear door, alum outside wheels, couple extra lights on sides(5 on top, 5 on bottom per side). Trl white, make Utility, on mudflaps says LYONS trailer sales, Indianapolis, IN.
Stolen overnight from 8/31 to 9/1 in Nj, from yard, pulled my truck with chain, had kingpin lock, that did not help, trl gone in 30 min. Watched on video(they don't care about cameras):cry::cry:

Hopefully, you notified the police and DOT. It sounds like a reefer? I find it amazing that they would have done this in so short a time. I don't think that I have heard of a tractor being pulled away from a trailer in order to steal it.

if they want it bad enough. they will find a way

Sucks to hear, hopefully they find it abandoned and in good shape somewhere.

I know a board member on here that stole a trailer, maybe he can tell you where thieves keep 'em usually (not mentioning names)....

I Bet it is already stripped and abandoned somewhere.

When my truck was stolen in NJ, police luitenant said to insurance investigator (off the record), that truck will either come up in a few days on a some deserted area, or we will never see it.....4 days later, they found it in a Newark, NJ....

Two guys (thieves) tryed to start my truck, but they could not(i got some spec. switch made), so they stole another guys truck, who parks next to me, hooked my truck with chain, pulled it out from trl, then hooked up to trl and good bay... Trailer still missing, that was dry van, not reefer.
Pictures from year ago, but trl still looks the same. If anybody finds it i pay $1000, and insurance co put out reward of $5000 to find freight.

Cops found that stollen truck with trailer hooked to couple days later. But that was not my trl. I guess thieves did couple "pick ups" that night.

I've seen where thieves cut down a tree behind the trailer in order to get the doors open, and heard of thieves cutting a hole in the side to get the freight out from inside. And, doing it in 30 minutes or less isn't a surprise either. Not the first ones they've stolen. Blame it on the unemployment rate. When unemployment is high, so is the crime rate. People that "don't have" get desperate.

Crazyeyes, you have my condolences. Having gone through a similar experience, I can say that the death of my son notwithstanding, the feeling of showing up to find my load and equipment missing was the second worst feeling I have ever experienced. The biggest problem is that the authorities don’t seem to care. When our truck and loaded trailer were stolen, the cops acted like they were more inconvenienced than anything else when they came out to fill out the report. No investigation was ever done and the thieves were never caught. That was in Orange City, Florida in 2008. A couple years later, we found a stolen trailer in Whittier, California and stayed with it until the detectives showed up. The lead detective was apparently assigned to a unit that did nothing but work stolen truck and trailer cases. According to him, in the unlikely event that the thieves were ever arrested, unless they were wanted for a serious violent crime, they would be processed at the booking office (jail) and RORed (released without having to post bond). He said the thieves he encountered were almost always illegal immigrants and would never show up to court once released. It’s funny how you can steal a $80k tractor, $20k trailer and $300k load and never do a day in jail, but get caught shoplifting many places and you get jail time.
