Cheap 22.5 drive tires

Im looking for the chespest NEW 22.5 drive tire. Its for the septic truck that will go no more then 12,000miles a year. Thats why i want to go cheap. My Mack i run BFGs on. But i aint spending 400/tire for a truck that does such low miles. Thanks

That's understandable, but why not the retreads?

Well it has full fenders that are used as hoses trays. I think if a recap would blow it would mess up the fender?? Im going to price some caps out too.

I run Double Coin on my drives and trailer. I have had excellent service, durability and wear from them. My drives are RLB 400's.

Considering you are not running very many miles a year, cheap is indeed the way to go. That being said, I run around 135,000 miles a year and am using Michelin's Custom Molded Retreads on Michelin and Bridgstone casings. Cost for a complete retread tire around $230. With trade in cases, I can get them for $170 a tire. And like you, I have plastic fenders over those drive tires and not worried about them. You can have a new virgin tire take those fenders out as well. If a person is serious about watching the air pressures and such on a retreaded tire, the likelyhood that it will throw a cap is remote.

i got Roadmaster brand new tires for $290, plus got $75 for my old trade ins, so $215 per tire for brand new tires. F and S tire in Avenel, NJ.
