For me, that word in the name, means "Caution! Be aware of sudden, and stupid moves!"

The problem is I agree with you and a bigger problem than that whether they mean to or not the police probably get their dander up a little more when you have Express in the name. "Faster Than a Speeding Bullet Trucking" would be worse I suppose and "We Ignore Speed Limit Signs To Get Your Freight There Faster Trucking" is probably worse still. Anything that sounds like you try to be fast is probably bad.

I don't want to give away the name because it's a play on words on my last name and this being the internet and all but... It's a two word name with the second word starting with a 'T'. Blank T-word Express rolls off the tongue very well thank you very much. Blank T-word Trucking not so much and Blank T-word Transport has the same problem. I could always end it with "Logistics" but I've got a pet peeve about people trying to sound like they're something they're not.

So what words do trucking companys end with?

Off the top of my head there's
Transport
Trucking
Transportation
Express
Logistics
Freight

Any others?

Edit - RostyC - I might go with Express anyway just because it does roll off the tongue so well. It's a good word that way.

"Transport" is fine! But it doesn't really matter. Just somehow "Express" attracts that kind of drivers....

I've never been bothered by DOT or police. I rarely go over 65 mph and sometimes I get my doors blown off by company trucks.

Starting to feel like I'm being profiled.
