Boost Gauge Install
I am putting a boost gauge on the old girl and was just wondering your thoughts on where to put the sensor...
I could go right after the turbo, before the intercooler and that would let me know what psi the turbo was putting out. Or i could go right on the intake log, after the cooler and that will get me an idea what the motor is actually getting..... I'm thinking the 2nd option but thought I'd see what you all thunked LOL |
Normal placement is in the intake log.

Damn dirty truckers lol.
I went with the pretapped intake spot. As for drilling a hole in the dash, I went on eBay and bought a used panel with 3 extra gauge spots. I got an outside temp and the boost in there, both are Tel-Tek gauges. Thinking about switching them all over to digital, but at $100 a gauge I'm not sure yet. |
