Well, my tranny was fixed late last night and I am finally heading EAST towards home! Deadheaded 300 mi from Fargo, ND to Iowa and picked up a 3,000 lb TL load that goes across the border into Canada. 3 pieces, each 120" tall and 90" wide. Was barely able to close my Conestoga. I have some space on the trailer but it's too late to look for LTL because of the weekend. Will deliver on Monday Sept-27 and then take a week off. My trips since Sept-03 looked like this: Toronto, ON - Laredo, TX - Houston, TX - St. Joseph, MB - Fargo, ND - Sioux Center, IA - Stratford, ON - Home; appr. 5000 miles total.

So after 3 1/2 weeks on the road ,a lot of time spent sitting, and over 5000 miles ,did you make what you needed to make per mile for all miles??I think you said your number was around $1.80 per mile .
