any independents with multiple trucks signed on with Bear transportation?

Their minimum requirement last year was 10 trucks and 1 yr in business to haul for them. Now they tell me they lowered their standard to 3 trucks.I am closing in on a 3rd, but is it even worth signing their packet?Do they have boards as big as LS and CHR?They seem to have loads all over the paid boards. All these freaking requirements and probably nothing to show for.

If I remember correctly, most of their loads are cheap. At one time they required a minimum of 6 months in business before they would book a load with a carrier. If they raised and now lowered their requirements, they must be finding it difficult to find trucks.

Their rates arent cheap, they just take a lot off the top. I was involved in a load that they cancelled because they found a cheaper truck(not the excuse they gave me) they brokered it to a carrier for less that 50% of what the customer was paying.
