Those are two really awesome looking trucks, Mackman! As I said before your truck has that B-model Mack look which is really cool!

Nice looking willow tree next to the pool!
If I had a sweet set up like that, maybe Shania would start returning my calls?!

LOL! The new Macks still have that all-in one heat/A-C unit under the dash just like the R models 40 years ago. Nice truck for a Mack. What does it weigh with that steel body?

We'd get $45/hr back in the 80s to haul asphalt. Or run like hell from 7:00 to 3:30 hauling gravel you could make $400-$500/day.

Have Tri-axle rates in the NE come up at all since then?

we try to get 77/hr to haul asphalt. But its hard at times to get that. So we will work for 70/hr but no lower.

I been hauling out of the quarry. I start at 515am get done around 3-4pm and make around 600-700/day. It depends day to day. One day may make 1,000 and the next make 400. So it all equals out to around 600/day. You can get 80/bucks to do a 20min round trip load. and 135 for a 1hr45min load. SO the closer you run the more you can make.

My lightweight is 25,080lbs. In PA i can almost get a 24ton payload. Mack stop doing the AC units like your talking about in 2002. Last model truck to have them was the RD.

Looks like you need some more practice. My truck will be in the driveway all weekend, come on down.

Just eat some of them magic mushrooms in the garden and it will look all shiny without having to actually work!
