Road King Shocks - Anyone use them?

Hello Ya'll,

I'm needing to replace the shocks on my truck. I'm a "you get what you pay for" kinda person. I'd like to upgrade to a better than OEM shock.

Has anyone used these? http://www.roadkingshocks.com/

Any other recomendations?

Thanks and travel safe!

Me too. But that's not a case IMHO. Way too much! KW has their own shocks "Road masters" which is way much better value.

They look awfully similar to RideKing shocks if you ask me. What is the cost for a pair?

I've never heard of these!?

Kenworth shocks are made by Gabriel.

And I've had nothing but problems with Gabriel shocks. Volvo shocks are made by Gabriel as well, and they're terrible.

I believe that Gabriel and Monroe are the only two companies that are actually manufacturing shocks. They do private label under other's names, but it is still made by one of these manufacturers.

Can't argue with that, but this are different, trust me. Made exclusively for KW, well may be Pete too. It's blue colored, comes with polyurethane bushings, steers shocks has 300,000 miles warranty, i've replaced it after 250,000 miles, just in case, and it still was in a perfect working order. Now i've got it for the rears too, at $60 a piece, front was $72, i believe. The best shocks i've ever had!

I assume you mean the mass market shocks. I know for a fact that they have nothing to do with RideKing shocks, and since the Road King shocks look identical to the RideKings, (just a different color) I imagine they don't manufacture those either. I would actually be surprised to find out that RideKing doesn't manufacture Road King's shocks for them.

It's the same company. One is marketed to RV's, the other to trucks. The components are made by King Shocks whose specialty is off-road racing.
