Sitton falls

Sitton Motor Lines to Close

Looks like they had 200 trucks and 1300 trailers. I thought they had a flatbed division but I guess not.

How low can we go?.......................

I hate to hear about Sitton. They have been in business for a lot of years. Unfortunately, there will be more failures before the dust settles. I hate to hear about so many people losing their jobs. It must be difficult for all of them and the Sitton family as well. It isn't easy to close a familiy business that has been successful for so many years.

At least they are going out in a organized manor, not just pulling the plug and screwing everyone.

I sure hope that is true. Maybe D.L. Sitton instilled a little character in the boys. I know he was a real fair guy to work for. the Lewellen family didn't think much of him and ran him off of President of CFI. So he went down the street and started his own outfit. I liked him, though I never worked for him personally. Sad to see the company he started go under. Only the best wishes for those that will now have to search out new opportunities.
