1) Oversize/Overweight/Specialized 2) Tanker 3) Flat bed/reefer 4) Dry van But that is really oversimplifying things, a LTL dry van load can and will pay more then all others. A dry van TL going into certain areas will pay very well. |
What about pulling Containers i hear they pay the best. A rag head in a 1979 mack cabover told me that the other day:confused:

Some containers pay fairly well, but generally containers are at the bottom of the pay scale. I don't see how some of these owner operators earn a living with the rates they are paid.
