Well been a while since I posted.

I had some bad months. After the Power steering problem, I had another problem. NO MILES = NO MORE GOOD PAY CHECKS. Well it took some time but I have moved my Truck away from the USA TRUCK. I will be leasing it onto Mercer pulling Flats, but since I not able to do the tarps I am putting a driver in it.

Do not worry, I will be back out in another Truck in a few months.

I am glad that things are beginning to turn around for you, coastie. Since you plan on putting a driver in your truck are you planning to buy another truck for you to drive?

In the long run yes. I am planning on getting more trucks. and one will be for me.

I personally know 3 o/o's who have done very poorly at Mercer, 1 came very close to loosing his truck

I have a friend who put his authority on hold to lease to Mercer. Initially, he did fairly well. He loved their system. But the last few weeks he was there he only grossed about $1,100-1,300 per week. He went back to running his own authority and hasn't looked back since.

1,100 to 1,300 would be an Improvement of what I was making the last 5 months over all. Mercer has some good and bad loads like everyone. Some say Landstar they going broke, yet others say they doing well.

As for my own authority it will come. But first I have to be able to afford it, and Since my last 5 months been a struggle, I am making a change.
