why would you fuel before you scaled?

Because I never gave it a thought. I always get loads of 25K to 35K. This is the first one I had that I needed to scale. I usually just leave the tandems at 40' for California and forget it. I'm getting loaded now for back home and it is 23K.

I just talked to one of our drivers and he came down I17 in Arizona this morning and they had the inspection stop in the rest area again today. Be prepared if you are heading that way.
