Xmas Tree Loads in NH/Vermont?

Anybody have a contact for hauling Christmas trees out of New Hampshire/Vermont this time of year?

I booked a load earlier this week on a portable building that was supposed to go to Denver. I get half way there and call for directions, and to make a long story short, it turns out there was a snafu and the building actually goes to New Hampshire now. They made it worth my while to turn around and take it there but I have never been to that area, the load boards are pretty bare for the area, but I've heard there should be xmas tree loads.

Any help would be appreciated.

Steve Booth used to move dissassembled cranes out of south NH. I think he dealt dirctly with the shipper but I'm not sure. Maybe track him down and ask him for the contact or, do a search on Thomas Registry.

don't xmas trees usually require stakes?

Where is Steve Not Steve? PM me if you're still lurking, dude.

As for stakes, yeah, I've been hunting for a source on those. Nothing yet, I'm thinking I'll have to go to a machine shop or something and have some made.

They were not coming out of New Hampshire. I believe they were coming out of the Boston area. He spoke with the owner but if I remember correctly, TQL had the logistics contract. I would have to check, but I think the company was American Crane.

You can sometimes use 2 x 4's. Some shippers may furnish them. If not you could find a lumber yard or Home Depot.
