Advice please: I70 through Colorado or
150 miles extra on the lower route to Cali? Close to gross. TIA

From where??? If your traveling from KC...stick with 70...if your leaving outta St Louis....drop down 44 to 40.
You could drop down 25 to US160 and drop down across Wolf Creek Pass into Farmingto and then Gallup..........:p:p:p:D Sorry I was late...but was busy with traffic. Friggin NE'ers. Don't any of um know how to drive?? |

I start out in Janesville, WI. I haven't driven 70 through Colorado since I was a trainee with a load of feathers about 13 years ago. I've always since avoided it like the plague. I can't remember if it's as bad as I thought. I was looking at it, I may be able to shave some miles cutting through KS on the two lanes. Without that, though, it's the I70 mountains or it's about an extra 150 miles, not sure which is worse. |

That's bad when yer killing the wildlife on a city street!! 6 years of driving over that road I never hit one critter...but did manage to spin-out once-----right in front of the ski area! :D:D Can you say..."Hot Chocolate Please!!" ??? :D:D " I'm waiting for a wrecker!!" |

Since your starting in WI country...drive west on I-80, then drop down I-15 into LA. |

Ok, thanks for the tips, gents. I'll check out the chicken, I know that little area back there with the leather couches is pretty nice. Is there anything the Vegas way comparable to the Wendover buffet?
Thanks also too for that winter route. That could come in handy sometime. |
