Pay withholding
 

Hi,
I have a question, I work for a Fleet Owner and have done so for about a year now and jsut a few weeks ago he and the company we are leased to had a falling out and he pulled all his trucks. We went to another Carrier and nothing was said ( or in contract) that with the new carrier he would be holding the first weeks pay. He also did not hold the first pay from the other company that we have been with for 9+months. Is he just being a dirtbag because he incurred the cost of moving trucks? or is this normal?

Ya, that's normal but more normal in the professional job field. I don't think they are holding it. They are just delaying your first check for a week more than your use too.
