Last summer I paid $1500 for 4 rims. I bought them at the Volvo dealership next to our terminal. Wingfoot there wanted $1800 and Bridgestone wanted $1700.

I had a driver who bent an aluminum rim on my step deck a couple of years ago. I think that I paid about $400 for a single rim. I am sure they are a little more today, but you can probably get a better price when you buy several at the same time. I bought it in Louisiana at a tire store. I don't recall the name. I would say that is about an average price for an aluminum wheel.

There is other wheels on there too. Expect to pay $125-$150 ea at a salvage yard (for alum.). $1500 for 4 new ones sounds about right I guess. I thought Freightliner priced 'em to me cheaper than that once though...but that's been a year or 4 or 5 ago too. I've learned that it's always worth checking OEM. Their almost always too high, but every once in a while they'll surprise the heck out of ya.

The $1500 included all the tax bs that accompanies a purchase.
