Front End Shimmy/Shake
I have a 1996 Kenworth that I am getting a shimmy in the steering wheel. It will start to shimmy at 60MPH and seems to get a little better at 70MPH but still has a shimmy. Under 60, it really doesn't do it. I have read other posts on here and still am unsure where to start to diagnose the problem. :? The front tires show minor cupping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would start with an alignment. Then check the king pins and shocks. In fact, they should check these items when you have the alignment done. Also check your air pressure. There is also a chance that it could be your tires.

I had a tire replaced on my passenger side, it has some cupping in it stop the shaking in my front end. My started A 45 & 50 mph.

A broken belt in the tire can do that as well.

I will try all of these things and report back on my findings. Thanks for the help.
