I don't normally get into these squabbles, but...if you can make close to the same money being leased, you'd be a fool not to. I'd love to hear why it makes more sense to have your own authority for the same money.

Last year I paid 1400.00 for my base plates and I am based in TX.

I paid $1,400 2 yrs ago for mine in Michigan,but now that I added more states it is much more.I wonder how many states you have?

Mine cost me $1700 last year for 48 state plus Canada, and that was for 74,000 lbs. Registered in WI.
